Stof is a platform to fill the spaces between software applications. It lives in this gray area of computer science so you, as a developer, don't have to (or are enabled to do it well and have a good time).

More specifically, Stof exists to improve data accessibility, usability, safety, and quality. It achieves this by seamlessly working with other interchange (and non-interchange) data formats, such as JSON, YAML, TOML, etc.

Stof adds a layer of sandboxed logic (as data) that can be embedded anywhere, resulting in a robust, standardized, and portable data interface and unification platform, helpful in a wide variety of use cases.

Stof is for:

  • Effortless unification - putting data from multiple sources and/or formats together.

  • Structuring and re-structuring data when and where you need it.

  • Code as data, so it can be safely and efficiently shared between systems.

  • Standardized and portable data interfaces for a simpler, more robust, and more secure architecture.

  • Complete control over the data that arrives at and leaves your application.
